“The secret to a happy marriage is if you can be at peace with someone within four walls, if you are content because the one you love is near to you, either upstairs or downstairs, or in the same room, and you feel that warmth that you don’t find very often, then that is what love is all about.”
Upon my first meeting with Jesse, I adored her. She had effortless style and although a recent college graduate, an old soul. She told me that the wedding was to be in her parent’s backyard and that her dad actually was the one to set her and Daniel up. The wedding was to be all about their love, commitment and family. She comes from large family and they decided to only have their siblings as attendants and to only invite their nearest and dearest.
She wanted bright, rich color with a romantic feel, lots of glowing, golden light. We chose Garden Roses, Peonies, Anemones, Rancunculus, Eucalyptus, and hints of Bougainvillia in hues of fushia and pink.
Jesse created all of the paper goods and written elements with her unique and beautiful calligraphy. It inspired her to start her own paper goods business called Freed Hands. It’s so wonderful to see her work at local weddings and to know that it all stemmed from her wedding day!
We also had the great honor of working along side these other amazing vendors:

“Sweet Desert Rose each of her veils a secret promise “
The desert has become a true love of mine. Once you learn to love it, it holds so much mystery and peace. That’s why I LOVE it when my client’s want to have a desert wedding and show off it’s beauty. When Mindi from Photography by Verdi first inquired for me to do their beloved daughter, Ashlyn’s wedding floral, I was so sad that I was already booked with another wedding that day. Then my lovely friend Shannon Smith of Sassy Soirees who was helping plan and coordinate, said that she would be able to transport the florals if we would arrange them and get them to her the day of. I was filled with so much joy creating for this sweet family and their amazing day!! It was so fun to use so much color and texture and add to their Desert Boho vision. No one can capture a desert wedding quite like the incomparable Daniel Kim!! styling: the grey antler, ashlyn’s gown: leeann marshall veil: gossamer, invite suite: oh my dear handmades, silk bouquet ribbons: frou frou chic
“An enchanted love, an awakened love, between two people is a blessing on the entire world.”
Palpable love and big, genuine smiles, are what one should see and feel on a wedding day. This group was so cheerful and excited, having a blast celebrating the love and blessed union of Mr. and Mrs. Hidalgo. It was our honor to be a part of this beautiful day at Encanterra Weddings, captured by none other than Pinkerton Photography.
“If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more.”

“Sunset is still my favorite color, and rainbow is second.”-Mattie Stepanek
Arizona sunsets are incomparable. Many wedding days are scheduled around the time of the sunset to be sure to capture it’s stunning beauty with the happy couple. The inspiration from this shoot came from the golden beauty and the incredible colors that this special time of day creates, bathing our bride in it. It was a joy to work with the incredible Sara Hassedt . She is a crazy talented film photographer that loves lots of color especially red! It was also a joy to see this shoot featured in Issue 11 of Magnolia Rouge Magazine titled “Desert Bloom”
